The Canine Coronavirus Ag Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the detection of canine coronavirus antigen in canine feces, delivering a fast, visible result in 5-10 minutes.

Detection Principle
The test card features a testing window with an initially invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone. Highly selective antibodies to canine coronavirus antigen serve as the capture (T) and gold-labeled detector antibodies. When the treated sample is added to the sample well, the liquid flows laterally across the test strip. If the target is present, a visible T line appears, which can also be recognized by the VETSEE G2 analyzer. The C line must always appear after sample application, indicating proper test performance.
Test Procedure
| 1 | Equilibrate — allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature (15–25 °C) for 10 minutes before use. |
| 2 | Collect sample — collect canine fresh feces with the swab from the anus or from the ground — the amount should cover approximately 1/3 to 2/3 of the swab tip. |
| 3 | Prepare sample — insert the swab into the assay buffer tube, agitate thoroughly, and let it stand for 30–60 seconds. Use the liquid supernatant as sample. |
| 4 | Apply sample — remove the test card from the foil pouch, place it flat, and transfer 4 drops of the treated sample into the sample well. |
| 5 | Read result — start the timer and read at 5–10 minutes. Do not move the test card during testing. |
NOTE: In case of no flow in 30 seconds, add 1 more drop of the sample.

Storage & Stability
Store the test kit at 2–30 °C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Do not freeze. The kit is stable for 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored under recommended conditions.
