Intended Use

The Equine Progestrone P4 Test is a lateral flow immunchromatographic asssay designed for quantitative detection of the concerntration of the progesterone (P4) in mare’s serum or plasma.
 

Principle

The Equine Progestrone P4 Test is based on competitive method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The window contains a control (C) zone and a test (T) zone. When the treated sample is applied, the liquid flows laterally across the NC membrane of each test strip, the analyte P4 in the sample will compete with the labeled P4-BSA component on the test zone, to bind the anti-P4 monoclonal antibodies-gold conjugate. The signal intensity of test (T) line will be correlated with the concentration of P4 in the sample. The optoelectronic system of the FIC-Q100N Dry Immunoassay Analyzer will analyze the signal intensity of the T line with the calibration curve which was pre-introduced into the calculation system of the analyzer. The concentration of the P4 will be directly displayed on the screen of the analyzer after the testing. The signal reflection of C line indicates a valid testing result.
*NOTE: On the inner side of box lid or zip bag, there is a label with QR code which contains the calibration curve of this lot.
