Product Overview
The Feline Calicivirus-Herpesvirus Type1-Coronavirus-Panleukopenia Virus-Toxoplasma Ag Combo Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the rapid differential diagnosis of these pathogens by detecting feline calicivirus and feline herpesvirus type-1 antigens in secretions from feline eye conjunctiva or nasal cavities, and feline coronavirus, feline panleukopenia virus and Toxoplasma gondii antigens in feline feces, from a single specimen collection.
Suitable for:
🐈 Cats at risk of infection 🏥 Veterinary clinics & animal hospitals 🐾 Rescue centers & shelters 🔬 Field screening
Key Features
| 🎯 Multi-marker panel | Up to 5 analytes in one test — two specimens, independent preparation per window |
| 🧬 Target | Feline calicivirus and feline herpesvirus type-1 antigens; feline coronavirus, feline panleukopenia virus and Toxoplasma gondii antigens |
| ⚡ Fast result | 5–10 minutes |
| 🔬 Highly selective | Target-specific capture and gold-labeled detector antibodies |
| ❄️ Room-temp storage | 2–30 °C, no cold chain needed |
| 📦 Flexible packs | 10T kit available |
Detection Principle
The test is based on sandwich method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card features 5 testing windows, each containing a T (test) zone and a C (control) zone that are initially invisible before the assay. When the treated sample is applied, the liquid flows laterally across the NC membrane of each test strip, interacting with pre-coated target-specific reagents respectively. The presence of target analytes in the sample results in a visible T line, while the appearance of the C line indicates a successful assay.
Test Procedure
| 1 | Equilibrate — allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature (15–25 °C) for 10 minutes before use. |
| 2 | Collect sample — collect secretions from the eye conjunctiva or nasal cavities with a swab for the FCV and FHV windows, and fresh feces with a separate swab for the FCoV, FPV and TOXO windows. |
| 3 | Prepare sample — insert the secretion swab and the fecal swab into their respective assay buffer tubes, agitate thoroughly, and let them stand for 30–60 seconds. Use the liquid supernatant as sample. |
| 4 | Apply sample — remove the test card from the foil pouch, place it flat, and transfer 3 drops of the treated secretion sample into each of the FCV and FHV sample wells and 4 drops of the treated fecal sample into each of the FCoV, FPV and TOXO sample wells. |
| 5 | Read result — start the timer and read at 5–10 minutes. Do not move the test card during testing. |
Result Interpretation
| C line | T line | Result | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visible | Visible | Positive (+) | Target detected in the corresponding testing window. Any faintly visible T line is considered positive when the C line is present. |
| Visible | Not visible | Negative (−) | No target detected. |
| No line | Any | Invalid | Test failed in the corresponding window; repeat with a new test card. |
The five windows are read independently. The FCV and FHV windows detect feline calicivirus and feline herpesvirus type-1 antigens in secretions from feline eye conjunctiva or nasal cavities, while the FCoV, FPV and TOXO windows detect feline coronavirus, feline panleukopenia virus and Toxoplasma gondii antigens in feline feces.
* The C and T lines appear as magenta-colored lines. For in vitro veterinary use only — results should be considered alongside other clinical information.

FAQ
| Q | Which specimens can be tested? |
| A | Feline secretions from the eye conjunctiva or nasal cavities (FCV-FHV) and feline feces (FCoV-FPV-TOXO). |
| Q | How long until the result? |
| A | 5–10 minutes after adding the sample. |
| Q | Do I need an instrument? |
| A | No instrument is required for Method 1 (visual interpretation). |
| Q | What if the T line is very faint? |
| A | Any faintly visible T line is considered positive when the C line is present. |
| Q | Can the test card be reused? |
| A | No. Each card is for single use only. |
| Q | What does the C line mean? |
| A | The C (control) line must always appear after sample application, indicating proper test performance. No C line = invalid test, repeat. |
